Privacy Policy
Huling na-update: October 21, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Gemini Silkroad collects, why we need it, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to the website, the game client and the mobile app, operated by Gemini Blue Ltd.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account: username, e-mail address, phone number and your password (stored only in hashed form — we can never read it).
- Age confirmation: when you register you confirm you meet the minimum age in our Terms.
- Messages: what you write to us in support tickets, the "Need help?" form, e-mails or Discord.
- Purchases: the order reference, what you bought, the amount and the payment provider used. We never store full card numbers.
- Creator program: if you apply, the channel links and details you choose to send.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and a hardware identifier (HWID) used to protect accounts and stop cheating.
- Approximate location: your country or region, worked out from your IP address.
- Abuse checks on the "Need help?", sign-in and sign-up forms: when you send one of them, your browser also tells us your time zone, graphics card name, number of processor cores, memory, screen size and how long the form took. We use these, with who owns your IP address, only to see whether a message, a sign-in or a sign-up came through a VPN, a virtual machine or an automated program. We keep the result of that check with your message or account, not the raw details. IP network data: DB-IP (CC BY 4.0).
- Game activity: login times, connection data and in-game actions needed to keep the game fair and investigate reports.
- Cookies and local storage: see section 5.
- E-mails: our e-mails may contain a small image and tracked links so we can see whether a message was opened and which links were used. We use this only to improve our messages. Security e-mails (sign-in codes, e-mail verification, password reset) are never tracked.
Information from service providers
- Delivery status of the e-mails, WhatsApp and SMS messages we send you.
- Payment confirmations from payment providers.
2. Your phone number
We ask for a phone number to protect your account. We use it only to:
- verify your account and send one-time codes,
- help you recover your password or account,
- send updates you asked for, such as replies to your support tickets.
Messages are delivered by our messaging provider (Twilio) and, for WhatsApp, by Meta. They handle your number only to deliver the message. We never sell your number or use it for advertising.
3. How we use your information
- To create, run and protect your account.
- To process purchases and deliver Silk and items.
- To answer your support requests.
- To find and stop cheating, fraud, account theft and abuse.
- To send service messages such as password resets, security alerts and important announcements.
- To understand how the Services are used and make them better.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the people we need in order to run Gemini, and only what they need:
- Payment providers — to complete your purchases.
- Messaging providers (Twilio, Meta/WhatsApp, e-mail services) — to deliver codes and updates.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — servers, backups and content delivery.
- Authorities — only when the law requires it.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and settings (for example music on/off), and protect forms from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but signing in and some settings will stop working.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account exists, and up to 24 months after your last login.
- Support tickets and messages: up to 24 months after they are closed.
- Security and anti-cheat records (IP, HWID, logs): up to 36 months.
- Purchase records: as long as accounting and tax law requires.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- See the personal data we hold about you,
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete,
- Delete your data (some records may be kept where the law or fraud prevention requires),
- Limit how we use it, or receive a copy in a common format,
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier.
Send your request through a support ticket or to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data-protection authority in your country.
8. Keeping your data safe
Passwords are hashed, the website uses HTTPS, access to our servers is restricted and we keep regular backups. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. Please help us by keeping your own password private.
9. Children
Gemini is not meant for children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our servers and some of our providers operate in different countries. Using Gemini means your data may be processed outside your country, with appropriate protection.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Important changes will be announced on the website, and the "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
